Ace writer Bhavna Vyas, who is the screenplay writer of successful shows like Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai (YRKKH), Anupamaa, to name a few, has written over 3800 screenplays for YRKKH, which is also one of the longest running shows on Indian television.
She said, “My prominent projects as a screenwriter are Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai and Anupama.”
Bhavna has also created the concept of a new show, which is titled Gudiya Rani. She said, “ I have given my blood and soul to this show, it’s like my baby. It’s a never-seen-before story where a poor girl child has to become another rich girl’s play doll. This is something that has not happened before. It also highlights the difference between the poor and the rich and how the poor are manipulated and used by the rich.”
She is happy, grateful, and proud to work for TV and is looking forward to creating more concepts, writing more shows, and collaborating with different broadcasters and producers.
And when asked if you were not a writer, then what you would have been, she said, “I wanted to do nothing during my college days. All I wanted was to get married and be a housewife. But God had another plan for me. One fine day, I woke up and wanted to become a writer. Just like that. So I really don’t know what I will do if I don't write.”
“I literally know nothing else. It may be a dog walker or cat sitter. I know nothing. I can’t do business. I don’t have the zeal to become a producer. I can’t even become a YouTube vlogger. Writing is all I can do,” Bhavna ended.
