Bigg Boss 16: After getting reprimanded by Sumbul Touqeer’s father, Shalin Bhanot and Tina Datta say “Ab toh lag gaye humare”

With this weekend’s Shukrawar and Shaniwar ka Vaar, Bigg Boss 16 host Salman Khan is going on a bashing binge. Salman kicked off the competition by reminding the contestants of the truth about their housemates, both friends and rivals, and what they are all capable of saying behind each other’s backs.

After Priyanka Chahar Choudhary, Ankit Gupta and Soundarya Sharma’s major brawl. The biggest explosion happened when Sumbul’s father Touqeer Khan came to the sets of the show and decided to give a reality check to Sumbul by unveiling the true faces of her amnol ratans in the house, Tina Datta and Shalin Bhanot. Sumbul is left in tears when her father reveals the bitter truth, though Shalin and Tina keep trying to convince her that they aren’t at fault. Sumbul is completely shattered.

Touqeer Khan tells Sumbul to now play on her own, he applauds Gautam Vig and Ankit Gupta for constantly being there for his daughter and supporting her. He even appreciated Shiv Thakre and Archana Gautam’s loving gestures towards Sumbul and made her realise who is actually standing for her as true friends in the house. He motivates Sumbul with yet another poem written by him and asks her to bounce back. Shalin tries to intervene in the conversation but Salman Khan shuts him and says, “You will get your chance to speak later”

After Sumbul’s father leaves, she starts crying bitterly and the housemates comfort her but Shalin and Tina Datta hide in the bathroom and have a conversation. “Humne aisa kya kiya hai, humne kuch nahi kiya hai Shalin, you know deep down in your heart. We were concerned for her, because of the way she would react.” Shalin calms her, “Tina I know, but it did not go that way to Telecast like that”, Tina says, “Lag gaye humare toh ab”
