Soniya Bansal Exits 'Bigg Boss 17' in Initial Elimination
During her two-week journey on the show, Soniya captivated the audience with her dance performances and charismatic presence.
Actress Soniya Bansal, a contestant on 'Bigg Boss' season 17, has become the first participant to be voted out of the house. She expressed a strong desire to re-enter as a wildcard contestant, emphasizing unfinished business and her eagerness to continue competing. The 'Weekend Ka Vaar' episode of 'Bigg Boss' was a rollercoaster of emotions, featuring intense drama and suspense.
Salman Khan, the renowned host of the show, revisited the heated conflicts that had occurred among the housemates, as the specter of eviction hung overhead. Nominated contestants, including Sunny Arya, Soniya, Aishwarya Sharma, Neil Bhatt, and Sana Raees Khan, readied themselves to bid adieu to the iconic house.
The twist came when Salman Khan revealed the results of the public vote, with Sana and Soniya emerging as the bottom two contestants. Their fate was entrusted to their fellow housemates, who had to decide who would continue residing in the master's mohalla and who would be the first to make an early exit. Regrettably for Soniya, the support from her housemates fell short, marking her as the season's first evictee and leaving her feeling betrayed by her so-called friends.
During her two-week journey on the show, Soniya captivated the audience with her dance performances and charismatic presence. She forged connections with fellow contestants, including Firoza Khan (Khanzaadi), Aishwarya Sharma, Neil, Ankita Lokhande, Vicky Jain, Isha Malviya, and Abhishek Pandey.
Expressing her disappointment over her eviction, Soniya said, "I consider my eviction unfair. I am determined to return as a wildcard contestant and pursue the unfinished aspects of my journey, and I am genuinely disheartened."
Soniya's time on the show was marked by conflicts, including a recent falling-out with Sana after supporting Abhishek Pandey, leading to heated confrontations. There were also occasional tense moments with Mannara Chopra, marked by passive-aggressive exchanges.
Regarding Mannara's behavior as a contestant, Soniya shared, "She tends to befriend people and then speak negatively about them and misbehave. I believe it's all part of her strategy to gain attention. Mannara often mentions in interviews that she is Priyanka Chopra's sister, using this as a means to gain popularity."
Soniya had formed a connection with the couple Ankita and Vicky, and she addressed the rumors surrounding their relationship. She clarified, "I wasn't particularly close to Vicky, but I had a better rapport with Ankita. Their personal life is fine, with minor misunderstandings arising due to time constraints. Vicky's attention to others sometimes impacts his ability to give Ankita the time she deserves."
Soniya is now eagerly awaiting the release of her upcoming movie. Her departure from the show left the other housemates concerned about who would take over the kitchen. 'Bigg Boss' airs on Colors and JioCinema.
